Jerry Lee Lewis seemed just as awed by the crowd in front of the Acura Stage as they were by the 79-year-old first-generation rocker from Ferriday, Louisiana. “We got
a flock o' people here,” he observed.
Linda Gail, Jerry Lee's sister, actually opened the set and performed for 15
minutes or so before Jerry Lee strode on stage with a little help from a cane.
Annie Marie, who sang Little Richard's Rip It Up, told the crowd, “It's gonna be a family show today.” Annie is Linda's daughter and Jerry's niece.
