No consumer video cameras in 1969, but JD had his dad's 8mm silent movie camera at the WRPI Picnic in Thacher Park. This video is just over a minute, and it's silent. The psychedelic effects are optical, not digital, and done by holding a toy kaleidoscope up to the camera lens just for fun.
