Roof Job

There was a roof job happening across the street. JD put up his drone to have a look. Some of the workers seemed just as interested in watching the drone, a Yuneec Typhoon H. 4K raw video footage with no sound.

It was time to run the drone battery down to storage voltage, so I had it watch me while I flew it in a big circle. Not much foliage left on some of the trees. Shenandoah subdivision in Baton Rouge. Yuneec Typhoon 4K. Edited in Pinnacle Studio 21.

A quick run out over some barges anchored in the Mississippi River at Baton Rouge, October 20, 2019. Raw 4K video from a Yuneec Typhoon H hexacopter. No sound.

Late September and early October 2019 brought an algae Bloom to City Park Lake in Baton Rouge where JD loves to fly his Yuneec Typhoon H. Here's a 4K look at it. The egrets and other birds don't seem to mind the algae. But the homeowners around the lake might not feel the same way about it.

4K video of JD's Camaro on River Road between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. His brother-in-law John does the driving while his sister-in-law Shaleen provides proof that a fully grown adult human can fit in the back seat of a Camaro. Yuneec Typhoon H hexacopter and 4K CG03 camera. In the places where you can peek over the Mississippi River Levee, you can see the water is much lower than it was in May, 2019, when it completely covered the concrete armor on the river side of the levee. It's not even up to the trees on the batture, only the mud left behind there when it was.

A 4K look at the big pond at the entrance to Magnolia Trace in Baton Rouge. O'Neal Lane and Jones Creek run near it. Yuneec Typhoon H hexacopter with CG03+ camera.

4K video at JD's sister-in-law's place in Pearl River, LA. While it seems to evoke the song "Pleasant Valley Sunday" by The Monkees, JD is too cheap to license it for this video, so that's not the background music. Just a sight-seeing flight around the neighborhood on Labor Day, 2019.

Hurricane Barry had stirred up City Park Lake in Baton Rouge quite a bit. It looks pretty muddy and trashy in this 4K video JD shot with a Yuneec Typhoon H hexacopter. It flew a curved cable cam route planned on the Web with Eric Emmanuel's CCC Editor. It took two trips to the lake to get this one. On the first trip, the aircraft failed its pre-flight check. A camera gimbal damper had popped out of its socket. JD lacked the requisite tool (a bread wrapper tie) to effect on-site repairs. After a quick trip to the house and back, everything was fine and go for launch. Edited with Pinnacle Studio 21, with music by Scorefitter. July 18, 2019.

4K video from an aborted grand tour of JD's neighborhood in Baton Rouge with a Yuneec Typhoon H hexacopter flying part of a curved cable cam (CCC) route planned with Eric Emmanuel's Web-based CCC Editor. Telemetry by Dashware and Q500Log2KML.

Around the old Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge with a Yuneec Typhoon H hexacopter flying a pre-programmed curved cable cam (CCC) route. 4K video. Flown June 9, 2019. Editing and music with Pinnacle Studio 21.
