This survey from sometime before March of 1973 had midday jock Michael Green on the cover. The “deal you can't turn down” was a reference to Marlon Brando’s line in the then-new movieThe Godfather. Green jumped from WTIX to become Program Director at WIXO in early 1973. He was one of the best PDs for whom JD ever worked. When WIXO went dark in 1974, Green went to work for Popeye's Chicken founder Al Copeland in their corporate offices in Harahan, LA.
