Longtime New Orleans cover band The Topcats were celebrating 35 years in business with their performance at the Fest in 2016. They brought back several of the original members from their precursor group, “T. Q. and The Topcats,” for the party.

Pat Campbell is the longest running member of The Topcats, handling lead vocalist chores, as well as bass and guitar.

Buzzy Beano started out as a session guitarist for New Orleans music icon Allen Toussaint at age 14. He joined The Topcats in 1979.
