JD pre-recorded his Sunday afternoon show for WTIX-FM so he could see Eric Clapton and some of the other acts on the first Sunday of Jazz Fest. But he ran through a batch of rain on the way that morning and foolishly turned around, thinking the day would be a washout.. Good thing Ed Lorio didn't scare off so easily. He got and contributed these great shots of Slowhand and other acts of the first weekend.
