To Lake Shadow With Remote ID Module on Autel Robotics EVO II V2
Thanks to YouTube's Alien Drones channel (https://www.youtube.com/@aliendrones), JD finally found a remote ID module by Holy Stone in stock at Amazon. It arrived
two days ago. Yesterday, JD strapped it on his grounded Autel Robotics EVO II 6K Pro (with the furnished Velcro®). After setting up and checking the module for
proper operation and paying the FAA $5 to register it online, off into the sky went the EVO II. The test destination was the usual Lake Shadow in his Baton Rouge
subdivision. No Karens apparently noticed on their smartphone drone scanner apps, and the flight was completely uneventful. JD is sure the flight was much, much
safer with the $89 add-on remote ID than without [sarcasm alert]. 4K video.
